St. Croix Boom Site

Visit the St. Croix Boom Site for a magical time on the St. Croix River. It's one of our favorite places to paddle as it changes throughout the year. When the water is high, you can snake through the submerged trees. North on the MN side is a small little-known waterfall to dock your boat and go explore. Head south and there is heron and egret rookery where you can see hundreds of birds in the trees if you time it right.
