If you're looking for a fun, adventurous snowshoeing activity for your team or group, DIRO Outdoors has you covered. We specialize in group adventures and make them effortless to setup and participate in. Pick a location, a date, and tell us what your goal for the activity is. We'll take it from there and work through planning, permitting, park scheduling, and meet you onsite will all the gear. Our guides will then give a brief safety talk, provide needed instruction, and get your group out exploring the beauty of Mother Nature. These adventures also include a warming bonfire with s'mores and hot apple cider or a short mid-snowshoe break with snacks and warm beverages which allow your group time to socialize and develop greater connectedness.

Afton is a beautiful place to snowshoe during the day or night. Our trip will travese an intermittent creek and bring you up hills and down ravines. Keep an eye out for wildlife in this wooded habitat. The southernmost trail loop climbs to the top of a bluff and a wide prairie with expansive views.

Enjoy snowshoeing the rolling hills, woods, and prairies of the beautiful and expansive Lake Elmo Park Reserve. The snowshoeing area of this park consists of a groomed trail along with vast spaces available for bushwhacking for those groups wanting their own space, to be more adventurous, or those seeking a greater workout.

Join us for snowshoeing through the backcountry trails at William O’Brien. These multi-use trails wind through a beautiful hardwood forest and rolling prairies. Another trail option makes its way down to the river where at night you can try your skills at hooting for owls and see if they hoot back! Seeing wildlife is common.
